Initial CRM setup for Embark Law, a Swiss law firm. Pipedrive for client and deal management, with data structure and field mapping designed from the ground up to support downstream automations with Bexio (accounting) and Clockodo (time tracking).
What was built
CRM structure: Deal pipeline stages designed around Embark Law's client lifecycle — from intake through active mandate to invoicing. Products configured for retainer and effort-based billing models (EMBARK.flex vs fixed retainers).
Data mapping: Custom fields added to Deals, Organizations, and Contacts to carry data required by Bexio (client numbers, invoice language, tax settings) and Clockodo (project/subproject references). A Google Spreadsheet was used as the migration bridge for importing existing leads and client data.
Integration groundwork: Explored and defined the integration points between Pipedrive, Clockodo, and Bexio — including what triggers what, which IDs need to be passed between systems, and how the invoicing logic should work.
