What was built

Plenish's WooCommerce platform was enhanced with a custom "Buy or Subscribe" plugin enabling flexible purchasing options (subscription or one-time buy) with sophisticated pricing logic. A major focus was fixing coupon and discount handling across multiple scenarios: percentage discounts, fixed product discounts, and subscription contexts. The plugin now correctly calculates recurring coupons, manages subscription quantity changes, and integrates with the wishlist system.

Backend improvements addressed product listing issues, payment method handling for 100% coupon scenarios, and location-based WooCommerce filtering. Security enhancements included AJAX request validation to prevent price manipulation and guest checkout fixes. The staging environment was configured with SEO protection and password-based access control. Testing was comprehensive, covering discount type combinations, buy-out calculations, and integration with Plenish's subscription fulfillment workflows.
